I'm keen to travel and meet people all over the world, especially any other fellow emergency service people. I'm taking a year's leave of absence from work soon to travel in the US and Europe and see family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Wanting to save money on accommodation while on my big trip, also I feel it's the best way to meet people and get the feel of a new place.

Interests

Anything to do with the outdoors. Love animals so pets are no problem and happy to pet sit! :) Love books, music, culture, food, coffee and wine, socialising. Also love fitness and healthy lifestyles. Skiing is what winter is for.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too varied to describe here, pretty much any good music from classical to 30s jazz, blues, rock'n roll, alternative, rock, country! Love a bit of nice melodic electronic stuff too, especially if it's at a club. Live music is awesome!
Super varied taste in movies too, just no hard core gore, like Saw or Hostel!
Books: mostly fiction, anything from crime to fantasy or historical stuff.

Moved to New Zealand from Hungary when I was 15.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to teach English or Hungarian, first aid, driving, fire safety or anything I know something about, really.

I am always looking to learn new things, especially while travelling. Would love to learn any language, learn to be a better horsewoman and skier, learn hang gliding and anything about nature and the outdoors.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences, cooking and cleaning skills, and conversation! Also happy to house and pet sit. I like well behaved children but wouldn't go as far as offering to babysit :)
