About Me

Gather a group of individuals who claim to be "open minded", and/or "looking for new friends to share experiences with". Then have them all completely contradict themselves by reading the books of others by their covers. That is basically this website in a nutshell.

How can one brag about themselves in a few short paragraphs? How does one decipher that another person is "compatible enough" to stay at their home for free without even knowing them. Only by viewing a few photographs within an edited bio.

It's about taking chances and helping people out. And to be honest, I'm amazed by how fabulous some people assume that they are.

We could be destined to get along. Perhaps we'll even be friends. But maybe I am just looking for a place to stay, with no strings attached. If the tables were turned, I would be completely understanding of this.

If that rant offended you, as opposed to encouraging yourself to ask questions about your own values and integrity... move on. There is no way that we will ever be friends (if that is what you are looking for).

Now that the lame people are gone, I will share a little bit about myself (since some idiot said that my description wasn't long enough):

1. I am an aspiring Makeup artist from Toronto, ON.
2. I am currently studying makeup and special effects for film and television at university level.
3. I am a certified Intra-Oral Dental Assistant who has gone back to school to pursue the makeup career.
4. I'm a city girl who grew up in the country.
5. I love all kinds of music, and going to different concerts of various genres is somewhat of a recreational activity for me.
6. I like to take risks and try new adventures.
7. ...but I am careful.
8. Reality television - my guilty pleasure
9. I believe that getting to know people is best done in person, rather than online.
10. I am not a psychopath. Just a couch surfer looking for a place to stay.
11. I put internet trolls in their place. So don't be surprised if you receive a nasty reply if you talk $hit to me. #ContructiveCommentaryOnlyPlease&ThankYou!
12. In case haven't already noticed... I have a very dry sense of humor. But generally, I am a very nice person who is very easy to live with.
