Hi, my name is Barbara but usually everyone calls me Babsi. This summer 2023 it will be my first time leaving Europe and visiting Canada - solo! Throughout Couchsurfing I hope to meet new people, who can show me around a bit.
Originally, I am from Anger, a small town in Styria, Austria. I’m currently in my bachelor of “Environmental System Sciences” at the University of Graz. When I’m not doing homework assignments I enjoy reading a lot and spending time outside in nature. Furthermore, I’m playing the clarinet since more than 10 years and I’m part of a brass band.

I’m looking forward to this very special summer and hope to make unforgettable memories.

Favourite movie: Soul (Pixar movie)
Favourite music: Aaah, there is so much music I listen to! Since I'm in a Brassband I listen a lot to brassmusic but besides that I also love to listen to tracks from disneymovies or other musicals.
Favourite books: Again it's hard for me to decide here. One book I really like though is called "Der Traumfänger" from Marlo Morgan

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I can make a pretty good "Fritattensuppe" which is an Austrian dish haha. Besides that I'd love to get to know your culture and I (hopefully) can tell you a bit of mine as well!
