I am from Mexico and I love my country but I got the oportunity of coming to US to work for Ford. I live in Dearborn with my husband and my two beautiful labrador dogs (this is my little family here).
I consider myself an easy going person. I love getting to know new people and learning from them. I also enjoy helping people whenever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best friend told me it was the best way of travelling because not only you travel to a lot of places but you also get to know great people from different cultures and traditions... And I just loved that!

Interests

I'm passionate about acting! I was an actress since I was 6 years old but I haven't done anything like that since I graduated from college... Times have changed.
I love outdoor activities. Right now I sail every week and camp and hike whenever possible.
I am a drumer and my husband is a guitar player and we enjoy playing together along with some friends (which we call "echar el palomazo" in Mexico)
I also love dancing what I'm pretty good at (latin, belly dance) and also what I'm not that good at (everything else)
I like watching movies a lot! Specially with a good wine and snacks.
Also enjoy doing BBQ's at the back yard with our friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost all kinds of Music but specially Classic Rock and Latin music.

My favorite movies... Oh I have so many, but to name some I would say "Remember the Titans", "The Last Samurai", and all 7 "Fast and Furious Movies".

Books... I haven't read a lot of books but so far "The Analyst" by John Katzenbach is my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I think my whole life is amazing... I couldn't ask for more... I have a loving family and great friends and most important of all I married a great person!
I'm so grateful!!!

But now that we talk about amazing things... one of the most amazing things I have done so far is getting married in Vegas! That was so much fun and I never thought I would do something like that...

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching belly dance and acting skills (which are so useful for all sorts of situations).

I like learning about anything! I believe that we can learn from everyone and I always try to be a good listener and a good student.

Sharing... I'm pretty much transparent... so you could say I share my experiences and the feelings that come along with them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My house, back yard and BBQ grill which we enjoy a lot...
And most important our friendship!
