Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's such a polish saying (roughly translated) - "Travelling educates". Is there a better way to learn than through experience you get in foreign countries and from meeting new people?

Interests

MOVIES -my biggest passion, a constant source of inspiration, consolation and education. I love all of them, from Bergman to Tarantino. I'd like cinema to be a part of my daily life - so far I e.g. volunteered at the 2014 Stanley Kubrick exhibition in Kraków.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC - I like to discover new bands all the time, but 70s and 80s in rock are with me nearly every day. Janis Joplin, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Republika (incredible Polish band) etc. So, pretty much good old classics.
Although I do admit weakness for some contemporary pop like Beyonce and Shakira.

MOVIES - too many of them to mention here, too difficult to find some favorites.

BOOKS - I love Mario Vargas Llosa, Henry James and contemporary poetry.
