Hola!
Me llamo Barbara, soy francesa y estoy viajando por suramerica. Antes de viajar estuve viviendo 4 años en Barcelona. Me fui a Colombia en junio pasado para vivir con una comunidad indigena en la selva del Putumayo. Pasé 6 meses trabajando con esa gente maravillosa antes de irme para el sur (Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia). Ahora mismo estoy en Chile y pienso quedarme hasta finales de Mayo antes de regresar a Barcelona.

Soy una persona muy creativa, me gustan todas las artes, intento siempre captar la belleza que me rodea. Soy apasionada de fotografía y de yoga/meditación.

Pienso que creamos nuestra realidad. Pienso que lo más importante en esta vida es ser positivos para atraer lo que deseamos, ser agradecidos por todo lo que tenemos, ayudar a los demás, compartir con los demás, entender a los demás.
Quiero aprender más cada día. Tengo mucha curiosidad!

También me apasiona mucho la música. Escucho muchos estilos diferentes : reggae, dub music, techno, jazz, psychedelic rock, hip hop and rap antiguo, y ultimamente me gusta mucho la música andina!
También me encanta leer, los libros son otra maravillosa manera de viajar, ultimamente he leido Gabriel garcia marquez, Herman hesse, Simone de Beauvoir, Tom Wolfe, Bukowski, y mucho más.

Hago todo lo que puedo para respetar los derechos de los animales y de los humanes, y también para proteger nuestra hermosa madre tierra. Por tal razón soy vegetariana(casi vegana).

La vida es un gran regalo y un misterio que no puede ser resuelto... La vida es una aventura!

Hello!
I am a french girl traveling around south america. I used to live in Barcelona for the last 4 years.
I left in last june to live with an indigenous community in the jungle of Colombia. I spent 6 months working with this wonderful people before going south (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia). I am now staying in Chile for a couple of months before going back to Barcelona.

I am a daydreamer, a visual artist, i try to catch beauty. I am passionate about photography and yoga/meditation.

I think we create our reality. I think life is all about being positive to attract what you want, being grateful for what you have, helping other people, sharing with them, understanding them.
I want to learn more everyday. I am curious about everything!

I am a huge music fan. I listen to many different styles : techno, dub music, reggae, jazz, psychedelic rock, old hip hop and rap... And lately i have really been into andean music !
I love reading too, books are another fantastic way to travel, lately i've been reading some Krishnamurti, Herman Hesse, Simone de Beauvoir, Tom Wolfe, Bret Easton Ellis, Bukowski... and so much more.

I do my best to respect animal rights and human rights, and to protect our beautiful mother earth. This is why i am a vegetarian(almost vegan).

Life is a precious gift and a mystery that cannot be solved... . Life is an adventure !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a lot and i love meeting new people from different cultures. When i travel i don't care so much about visiting touristic spots, what matters to me is to get to know people, understand their way of living, their way of seeing life. It makes me grow as a more tolerant human, a more loving and compassionate being.
I used to be a host in Barcelona. I am now looking forward to be a guest :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met indigenous healers from the Amazon rainforest (Colombia) and i hosted them in my house... And then they hosted me for 6 months in their house and i became a part of their family.
