About Me
ABOUT ME:
I am sweet, kind, warm and confident woman who lives life with a sparkle in her eyes. I enjoy being both silly and serious. I value honesty and straight forward communication. I find deep philosophical conversations about spirituality, psychology and health very stimulating. I am deeply dedicated to my own personal growth and to helping others. I work in health care (mental health and addictions treatment).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to have company and get to know people and their stories. I also love to travel and meet local folks who really know the local culture and land.
Interests
These are a few of my favorite things - connecting with my true nature by being in the natural world; some of the places I get to in meditation, going to a movie or staying home to watch a DVD; going out to concerts or plays; being near or in water; traveling which could include a B&B weekend trip, a weekend campfire/tent in the mountains or other overseas destinations. I am very adventurous and hope to fellow traveling partners who like to get out there and explore the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been to Ireland 4 times and love my ancestral connection to the land / I feel very much at home there and am often mistaken for a local. I have travelled to England to study celtic shamanism with some teachers in Oxford. I did a trip in my early twenties to sacred places of Egypt, Israel, Greece & France. On this trip I rode an arabian stallion around the pyramid at giza. I have also been to the bahamas and mexico. Hawaii is a favorite winter destination. I have walked on fire.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an excellent cook and like nothing better than to cook for others. I love to meet new people and share adventures.
