Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning Mexican and Colombian Spanish. I spent 15 days in Mexico in March 2024 and I would love to go back. I also want to visit Colombia and Argentina.
ABOUT ME
Please READ the information on my profile.
I love travelling. Walking in cities, cycling and hiking.
I am friendly, energetic and outgoing. I like meeting and talking to people from all age groups and cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
You must find your goals and go for them. It is important to believe in yourself, persist and be willing to work for your dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host travelers (please read about "My home") and sometimes I ask to be hosted.
I OFTEN RECEIVE REQUESTS FROM PEOPLE WHO DON'T OFFER TO HOST OTHERS AND SEEM TO ONLY SEEK FREE ACCOMMODATION.
THEREFORE, I'VE CHOSEN TO HOST ONLY THOSE WHO ALSO HOST OR WHO ARE NEW TO COUCHSURFING BUT PLAN TO HOST IN THE FUTURE.
IF YOU DO NOT HOST, PLEASE DO NOT SEND A REQUEST, AS I WILL AUTOMATICALLY DECLINE IT.
You can check public transport options in Budapest here:
Download the BudapestGO app on your mobile phone for easy access to tickets and schedules.
You can find the most important sights of Budapest, along with additional information, on this site:

Unfortunately, most travelers spend only 1 or 2 days in Budapest. I would recommend staying here for at least 4 full days. You will not regret it! :)
Hungary is much more than just Budapest; it has many beautiful places to explore. Here's some information for those who want to discover more of the country:
If you plan to travel across different regions of Hungary by public transport, you can buy the Hungary Pass, which is valid for 30 days (there is no option for a shorter duration). The easiest way to get it is through the BudapestGO app.
You can also purchase individual bus and train tickets at the cashier, from the bus driver, or via the MÁV mobile app.
You can find more information here:

The Hungarian bus company, Volánbusz, has recently changed its rules. You can read about the new rules in this article (Note: there is no English version, but you can use Google Translate):

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I went to Copenhagen I stayed at a very nice person's place. There I met other couchsurfers, too. For me it was a really good experience meeting cool people from different countries and my host was super!
Later I moved to a dorm where I hosted a few people and there I had some useful experience.
I came back to Budapest in March, 2013 and started hosting in April. I had surfers almost every day. It was a very enjoyable period of my life :)
Then I moved to a studio flat where I received a few guests at the beginning but I couldn't sleep when my guest snored so I stopped hosting.
In September 2023 I moved to an apartment where I have my own bedroom so I can host again in the living room :) (please read the text in the "My home" section).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked across Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge in Northern Ireland. As I am afraid of heights it was very frightening for me. Moreover, there was a strong wind so the bridge was moving, which made this adventure even scarier for me . But finally I managed to survive :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn how to manage my time to be much more efficient in everyday life.
