About Me

ABOUT ME

I guess I'm quite a cheery person and am always looking for adventure. A cliche but true statement; life really is short, so why take it too seriously? That doesn't mean I don't enjoy a serious discussion, but I do tend to liven things up with a joke here and there. Be warned; most of my jokes do tend to be a bit lame :).

PHILOSOPHY

I'm developing my own philosophy as I go along, adding new insights and thoughts that I pick up from people I meet and places I travel to.

I've come to the conclusion life... is about BOOZE and PARTEEEHHH!! (told you: lame joke)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couchsurfing is a truly awesome initiative. Many times have I met the greatest of people and made the best of friends through couchsurfing. During my long-term stays in Spain as well as Scotland, couchsurfing meetings turned out to be a great way to make friends in a new city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some people. Surfed only once in Belgium and it was a brilliant experience!

Interests

The things I do are usually aimed at discovering other cultures and meet new people. So I'd say my overall interest is people! I didn't choose to study social sciences for nothing! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a sucker for movies. The screen is my biggest friend and enemy (for my social life). I don't really have particular favorites but I would say I love black humor the most. South Park for example, and Sideways.

Concerning books, I recommend you read Shantaram. READ IT! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That would be Chinese acrobats. Man....I mean...man..

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach. Well, I taught English in China. I could teach you what a monkey eats. Share. All I have to share is my sometimes twisted imagination. Provokes either grins or resentment. And learn. My brain could do with a bit of learning, plenty of RAM left to fill up!

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Laos, Latvia, Malaysia, Malta, Montenegro, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
