ABOUT ME

Living in France at the moment! Great times 😍

I am a merchant navy officer, I work in the coast of Brazil, and I love travelling.

I'm from Rio de Janeiro, born and raised. When I was 19 I decided to join the navy and become a merchant navy officer. After 3 years "stuck" in Rio, not being able to travel much, I started working and travelling around Brazil. My job allowed me to know some beautiful places in my country and I feel blessed for having the chance to visit such beautiful places.

As I said before, being in the merchant navy allows me to travel a lot, I have quite a generous vacation. Going to different places and meeting people makes me really happy, so I try to visit a new place everytime I have a chance. I am very open minded, I love art, music, and a good party too! One of my favorite activities is to show foreigners my favorite places in Rio. It is like telling someone a secret haha

I am very impulsive, so if I tell you I am going somewhere...I WILL. So don't invite me if you don't mean it haha like this one time I met a french girl in NY and she said i should visit her in Marseille...so i bought a ticket to france. That's how I am. I am driven by amazing connections I make with people. It could be with someone from my street, or someone that lives across the globe. It's all about how they make you feel!

If you want a couch, i will tell you in advance that my schedule is very busy but if there is a tiny chance of us meeting, i will grab it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the weekly meetings in Rio, I got to meet so many people and had lots of fun. I would like to create a weekly event but for now it is impossible because of my job...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in the US and I loved it! I could understand what couchsurfing is all about and it amazed me! Can't wait to do it again in europe! I have hosted in Rio and it was such a great experience! Being able to show my city from my point of view...i loved it!

Gavin Degraw, mumford and sons, the killers, playing for change, legião urbana(brazilian band), snow patrol, cold play, fall out boy...so many more!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My dad gave me as a birthday gift a helicopter ride around Rio. Seeing the Christ so close was amazing. It really touched me. Also the 911 memorial. Beautiful and sad place, the pools are indescribable.

I can teach you a bit of portuguese maybe? I wish I could say I can cook but I'm not gonna lie...maybe share a good take out? I can asure you that I will do my best to get to know you, hang out with you and share a bit of my life with you...:) hope that makes up for the lousy cooking skills.
