Hi everyone:)
My name is Bara and lately I travel mostly with my boyfriend Lukas and our australian shepherd dog Anakin:) We currently live in Austria . We are both biologists and Lukas currently works as a postdoc in fresh water ecology in Lunz am See. I work temporarily as a cleaning lady in a monastery that is also a hotel. I am not scared of any type of work and this is a perfect way how to learn German as well as to earn a bit of money for the living. Also, after the studies of Botany, I decided to enroll to a distant studies of landscape and garden architecture.
We live on a farm with the owners shortly so we rather do not accept guests at the moment (and see how it goes further and if we are allowed to invite people:). However, I have contacts on workaway hosts in the vicinity of Lunz am See if you were interested to come and meet us:) Nevertheless, we own a house back home in Czech republic in a beatiful village near Budweis and once we come back, we will host you with all the willingness and hospitality!
Mostly we travel with our van with no big plans and let the world surprise us. We like water any kind of sports (water sports, ball sports, climbing..) and practice some training with the dog as well (agility, sheep herding). I am the most happy when I can lay down in a hammock immersed in the forest enjoying the moment and Lukas is the most happier in the mountains or while diving.
Coachsurfing means for us a wonderful chance to meet interesting people and to make new contacts on the way. We like to make new friendships no matter if they continue (even better:) or not. We like to make fun, to eat (even though I am unfortunately gluten intolerant), to enjoy cultural events, nature and movement.
