Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Participating in the meetings of the communitty of the city I'm currently living
Helping people with information about the place I am or places I've been to
Taking people of when they're visiting the city where I am
Helping people to get around the city where I am living
Sharing some time, some thoughts, some stories...

...and of course, meeting incredible people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For me CS is to share not only the roof but also the routine, a bit of the culture, the habits, the food... Share ideas, opinions, views of the world, dreams...
It's much more fun to get to know a new city under a local's perception!

- a lua cheia gigante e alaranjada no horizonte
- a lua cheia brilhando e iluminando o caminho em noites escuras
- a neve caindo sobre mim
- as folhas de outono estalando sob meus pés
- uma tempestade elétrica
- o sol brilhando as 23hs

- aprendi a dançar Horo (dança típica búlgara)
- aprendi a ler o alfabeto cirílico
- e muitas, muitas outras ;)

***

I see amazing things in the everyday small things... so I saw and got amazed by:
- sunsets
- the sky full of stars when I was on very quiet and dark places
- the full moon big and orange at the horizon
- the full moon shining the way on the dark
- the snow falling over me
- the fallen leaves crashing under my feet
- a lightstorm
- the sun shining at 11pm

And I've done many amazing things:
- crossed the "Cordillera de los Andes" from Argentina to Chile
- walked on the frozen sea in Russia and Latvia
- spent 3 days in the desert and salt-desert in Bolivia
- spent 1 day with the Uros tribe in Peru (in a floating island)
- been to a vulcano (and saw an active one) in Costa Rica
- swam on the Nicaragua's Lake
- swam on the Caribean Sea in Panama
- swam on the Black sea in Bulgaria
- learnt how to dance Horo (typical bulgarian dance)
- learnt how to read cyrilic
- learnt a bit of georgian and armenian alphabet
- been to a traditional Georgian bath
- been to some of the 1st christian churches in the world in Armenia and Georgia
- entered a Mosk in Turkey
- sang xmas carrols (and entered people's houses singing it) in Romania
- walked on the bridge where Franz Ferdinand was killed in Sarajevo
- went to a kafana in Serbia
- walked on a "levada" in Madeira Island
- and many, many others ;)
