Hi there! My name is Bárbara García, i am a 23 years-old spanish girl living in Slovenia.
After a rough year I decided to change everything in my life and move to this country thanks to the European Solidarity Corps. I am currently working in a youth center in Domzale, 20 min away from Ljubljana.
I can't wait to visit every part of this wonderful country, so if you have any advice, please, let me know!

I have lived in Turkey and Brazil as part of exchange programs from my university. Also I lived for a year in United States where I worked as Au Pair.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to know people from all around the world, share stories about trips or just about life.
While travelling in South América I stayed in many CS and I discovered this world is full of wonderful people who share their houses without expecting anything in exchange, it was a great experience.

I don't think Couchsurfing is way to save up money but a way to get to know the local culture from a local person, which makes the experience totally different and more complete.

Intereses

I love sports, music, parties, FOOD and TRAVELLING. Anywhere surrouned by mountains will be definetly my kind of place. I love hiking, getting lost, feeling exhausted and contemplate the nature by myself with my music.
I love to know new cultures and people, realizing how different and alike we are at the same time, also I think it is the best way to open your mind and leaving prejudices behind.
