Hi I am Barbara nice to meet you! I recently took half a year off to travel in Centralamerica and to do my Divemasters. From February 2022 i will start studying again at University in Switzerland. But right now I enjoy the freedom of beeing able to travel wherever i want:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to share stories and listen to peoples stories. To me exploring a place is more authentic and also interesting when you get to see it through the eyes of local people. I love to share some time thougheter, to learn how to cook something new, get a drink, to learn a few words in another language or just to talk.

Interests

I am a easygoing person, i live for good moments and laughing. I am really interested in all kinds of outdoor sports, I am a scuba and ski/snowboard instructor. I also love to surf and to fish. And of course travelling. At home i also have a little atelier were i do all kinds of creative things, I like to do oilpaintings, ceramics with clay from our local river, linocuts...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Nicaragua I have been on the top of an active vulcano, you could feel the warmth of the lava and smell the gases from the vulcano. It was breathtaking seeing what nature is capable to do.
