Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I am hosting, but in the future I plan to be a surfer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about Couchsurfing on a travel podcast and thought it sounded like a great way to meet interesting people. Immediately I began receiving Couchsurfers, Martine and Peter. Since then I've hosted several travelers, all of them have been special and it's great to make these connections with people from around the world.

Interests

I enjoy traveling and have visited many countries in Europe and South America. I like to cycle and swim (although the Pacific Ocean is too cold to do much of that here). Recently started finding time to make art - acrylic painting and mosaics. It's such a meditative process, I love doing that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to audio books and "read" all the time. Mysteries, novels, nonfiction - I like a little of everything. Same with music.
