Travelling by bike along the silk route

I love to try new things, see new things, experience. I'm a Dutch girl living in Sheffield and working as a post doc at Sheffield university. I like to play sports and be outdoor. I play volleyball, squash, run in the peak district and swim . I love travelling and exploring new cultures and people.

Sheffield is an ideal place to explore the outdoors of the Peak District. We often to go hiking and cycling in the Peak so you are very welcome to join us on one of our trips. However, if we are not here or working, we are full of advice for nice walking routes as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We just moved into a new apartment, so we are up to host some people and show them around Sheffield and the Peak Distrcict, which is just on our doorstep

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best couchsurfing experience I had so far was on an island in Lake Baikal, the biggest lake in the world! Sergey build a church and a house to host people just by himself! We helped him a bit by painting a fence and building a pizza oven :)
