About Me

ABOUT ME

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and, despite all the traffic jams, I love it here! I think São Paulo is the city in Brazil where you can do anything you want, anytime you want. You should all come to visit someday! =)
I am just about to finish my Industrial Engineering studies and I still live with my parents, so, unfortunately, I still can't host anyone =(, buuuuuttt.... I'll be glad to host in the near future, when I have my own place!
I consider myself a very open minded person and I really excited to get to know new cultures and have different experiences, even when they challenge the world as I know it. This is exactly why I love travelling. I know its cliche but I really believe you never come back the same from a trip.
I am really open to any experiences that might appear when i am visiting. I can help you cook (even if I am not an experienced cooker), I am glad to sit on the couch and share my life and my culture and I am also glad to go out day and night, visit museums, parks, libraries, clubs, do hiking, whatever it is your city has to offer!

PHILOSOPHY

I guess life is all about learning from one another.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I said before, I still live with my parents, what makes it very hard for me to host, but I am willing to go visit interesting people, learn whatever they have to teach me and talk to them about how Brazil is much more then carnival and beautiful beaches (though I love carnival and our amazing beaches ;))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still didn't have any couchsurfing experience, but I am hoping to have many in the near future ;)

Interests

I love dancing. I used to dance classical ballet for 12 years when I was young and also had a great experience in ballroom dance a few years ago. I still hold a lot of interest not only in ballet, but all other kinds of dances and in arts like theater, music and others.

Besides dancing, I like:
- Listening to music
- Hanging out with friends, just to talk about anything...
- Listening to stories people have to tell me
- Getting to know a city's life, not only the touristic places
- Hiking (though I don't really have a lot of experience)
- Walking around the town
- Food!! (OMG, how did I almost forgot about the food!!!)
- Drinking coffee in nice little places

And, of course, sharing experiences! Otherwise, I wouldn't be here? ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Uyuni desert
- Salkantay trail to Macchu Pichu
- Grand Ateneo library and Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires (loved that city)
- The entire city of New York
- The sunset in Jericoacoara (Fortaleza, Brazil)
- Ilha Grande and the desert beaches around it(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
- I guess having danced in Joinville dance festival in Brazil (which people say it is the largest in the world) was really amazing.

I also worked for Disney (Florida) as a character performer for 3 months (not thaaat amazing, I know, but I like to talk about "which characters have you been?" and "tell me a bit about Disney's secrets" =D)
