About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Im coming to Cambridge for school and would love to meet some interesting people who know the area and can help show me around!
Interests
I'm in the midst of a passionate love affair with the sciences. Most recently the topic I've been stuck on is space travel. I'd love to converse with you about any facet of it; be it engineering space suits, agriculture aboard the international space station, the effects of deep space radiation on human physiology or its history!
I'm also an amateur mycologist and spend a lot of time in the woods collecting wild mushrooms and learning about them hands on. I'm very familiar with a variety of edible mushrooms and would love to take my host on a nature walk outside of the city to harvest and even cook some. All outdoorsiness is good! Biking, hiking or snorkeling.
Apart from the sciences, I enjoy music very much as well. I have been playing the saxophone since age 8 and picked up the guitar and ukulele this past year. My ukulele travels with me everywhere and I'm always down for a jam session.

Music, Movies, and Books
I spent a lot of time in my local theater as a youth and have become very fond of Shakespeare resultingly. Some of my other favorites include Vidal, Nabokov and Huxley.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At age 17 I was rendered homeless after a house fire and spent the year hitchhiking across American, making it as far West as Colorado and as far South as Key West, Florida.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always excited to learn something new, whether it be a musical concept, a scientific theory or the basics of a foreign language. Everybody knows something you don't, so there is something to learn in everyone you meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Music, laughs, conversation and knowledge exchange. Lots of wild stories about past adventures. Awesome cooking as well ;)
Countries I’ve Visited
Costa Rica, Mexico
