I work to travel. I live to travel. I have a wonderful son who is picking up the travel bug as well. I love languages but I am not any good at learning them. So I went and got a Masters in Linguistics with a specialty in Cognition and try to apply it to help others do things that are hard for them better than I do.

Have tried at various times to learn German, Russian, Japanes, Chinese, and Arabic. Would love to say I had had more success but have only managed to pepper my English with Ikimasho, yella, gambatte, Enshalla, Was ist den los, Wakarimasen, Wo Bu Dong etc.
