About Me

Hi everybody!,
I'm Barbora, but English-speaking friends call me Barbara. I'm a cosmopolitan Bohemian girl, living in Prague.
This September I'll start with my studies again (this time it will be hospitality and gastronomy, and yes, I am so excited about it.), before this I was study at Czech Technical university, but it was nothing good for me :D
My huge passion is travel and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you want, I can be your Prague guide. I can also offer accommodation in Prague.
Also I want to go this March to New York for a few weeks, I fell in love with this city a several years ago and I want to go back! I have to.
....also I have plan to do a French trip (especially Provence)

Interests

And now a little about my interests.
I'm a culturally based one (ok, not just one). I love visiting museums, galleries, theaters and monuments. It's also one of the reasons why I like traveling.

The next and big one is cooking, actually I want to be a chef and owner of a little cozy restaurant one day. (and I will be...) . I am so exciting about food, gastronomy, wine, beer and other stuff.
I could talk for hours and hours about cooking, dishes, ingredients, restaurants, about everything has something to do with gastronomy. I know it's a little crazy,
but I fall in love with a food, so what.. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Another passion is music (I know, nothing original)
I love black music (soul, jazz, hip hop, r & b and others) and also classics such as 60's-90's (rock, pop, etc.) and classic in the true sense.
Books?... hmmm... everything by Peter Mayle, many Czechs authors that you don't know, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Alone more than one month in NYC (one of the best experience in my life)
- Last year I stop a study at Technical Uni and started what I trully want to do..
- take cooking seriously
