About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Searching for an inspiration! On all levels, from new, wonderful people I meet everyday, from my studies, from everything that surrounds me.

ABOUT ME

I am a very positive and energetic person. I am in the middle of realising my dreams, as many of them as possible - of studying abroad, travelling, learning new languages...
I love meeting new people, who are as enthusiastic as I am. I have many hobbies which I do in my free time.
I'm easy-going and open to new experiences. I left my country almost 4 years ago to move forward with my life towards goals I had set to myself.
I love animals. Generally, I am all smiled when I see any animal around me.
I am looking forward to visiting as many places on this planet as possible. Recently, I have engaged in looking for an organization that gathers volunteers willing to work in Africa. I hope I will do that next summer.
I lived in France for 2 years just out of love for the sun in Provence and baguettes!
This year I am living in Denmark to learn the language and enjoy the culture and the people I am staring to love with all my heart. Can't get enough of that! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Never give up. To be honest, I don't care how cheesy that sounds but I have struggled so much not to do that when I was loosing hope, that I know its importance. Especially, if one has high ambitions and goals to achieve. Or dreams. I have that. Therefore, I say "no" to people who believe that life is an ordinary thing and that you can't turn it into something more. It makes me wanna prove them wrong. And that's what I am trying to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried couchsurfing a few times with my friends. First time in Barcelona, where I met lovely people. There was a couple that hosted me and my friend. It was my second year of high school, I was 17 and I think I would enjoy it more now. Back then, I was too bashful and intimidated by being in someone else's flat. But people I met there helped me feel comfortable with them and eventually, I enjoyed it a lot! First evening we spent together, 4 of us, drinking wine and having a lovely dinner. Something I had not expected. They treated us like their best friends. That was amazing! I wish we had more time to get to know each other better, it was only one night. They told us where to go and how to fall in love with Barcelona and I will remember this visit for a long time.

Interests

Photography, Films, Theather, Sports (apart from baseball, I just don't get it...), Music, Literature & Travels. Psychology, as it is my current degree, although I know it is not obvious that people are passionate about their area of study. I am!
I love cars and driving cars. And food! Plus, almost everything that contains sugar.
I find learning foreing languages extremely interesting. That's why I liked studying in London. I had friends from all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Biographies, novels.
I like music, a lot. I enjoy listening to various genders. I play piano a little bit, so I do appreciate the value of classical music as well.
When it comes to films, all kinds interest me. As long as they are good, of course. However, I don't mind seeing films that I don't like becuase at the end it helps me create my opinion and cherish more the extraordinary ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving 2000km to live in France, all alone, just the car and my dog.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you something about my language and my country, Polish food is also included!
Being a huge cinematography fan, I am offering my company to watch films, both in cinema or at home (it's so much cheaper) over a bag of popcorn and a bottle of wine.
Also, I am keen on books and music and sightseeing.
I would be more than happy to visit together any place where I meet with fellow couch surfers.
I do sports, so if you enjoy it too, we could play tennis or go ice-skating and many more. I am quite skilled, so if you're looking forward to spend some time in an active way, I am looking forward to it!
