About Me

Hello :) My name is Barbora and I am a student lucky to be living in the beautiful city of Prague. I am a very social person and bubbly personality and it would be a pleasure to meet with you all and make new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am completely new to couchsurfing, but I kind of fell in love with it already. The thought of an online society that gives temporary love and home to people traveling around the world is something amazing. Personally, I prefer staying in home-like atmosphere of smaller places compared to hotels. You get to know the place and the people more and therefore enjoy the stay completely.
Also, as a student who loves traveling I don´t have the money often needed for accomodation.

Interests

I love spending time with people, my family and friends. Often we tend to spend a lot of time just chilling in parks or on concerts of student bands.
However, sometimes I just like some alone time, where I wander around the town, but I especially like hinking in mountains and running in forests.
I love travelling, especially for nature, but also for culture and the beautiful atmosphere of some cities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a strong prefference of books over movies, but if I do watch something, it needs to be a good movie.
I am a big reader, wherever I go, I have to have a book on me, because you never knwo when you´ll need it :) My favorite author is Remarque, but the best book I read is Shaddow of the Wind from Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
I spend a lot of time in a musical community, a lot of my friends play in bands and are musicians, but I never attempted to play any instrument :/ I love classical rock music or today´s alternative musical scene, but my taste changes constantly as I discover new songs and bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like nothing I do is amazing, but I guess my most amazing and memorable experience is when I hiked in Albania and Montenegro. There were no people and no trails, just pure untouched beauty of mountains.
