This is me!

A bit childish, a bit intelligent, a bit scared traveller. Currently staying in United Kingdom and working and moving around. I love to read books - in fact, Jack London's novels have been my biggest inspiration to start exploring the world! (And visiting Alaska is one of my biggest dreams as well!)

I grew up in a small village in the Czech Republic and probably because of that, I'm a keen nature lover. Hiking all day is one of the best relaxation techniques I know! Also those mountains gave me always reason to go out and paint or just relax with a book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard about this website a couple of years ago but was too scared to try it on. Well, being older and hopefully wiser, I've decided to give it a try.

A lot of people crossed my path and I'm very grateful for them - they all taught me a thing or two. I can appreciate food like Italians do, being a cheerful person like my friends from Phillipines or being a bit mysterious melancholic artist like those few artistic friends from Portugal.

And something similar is happening thanks to Couchsurfing, I guess :)
