I live in Prague, but don't consider myself a local, as I grew up in a completely different part of the country. I have a bachelor's degree in film&tv production, work as a bridal stylist and I want to be a pilot. A lot of different things, I know, it's a long story :D

I'm nice and polite and friendly and easygoing and everything, I love to hang out with everyone, but to balance it out I also like my alone time. :) That's why I love to travel solo, as I find it the best way to unwind and reconnect with my own self.

My friends call me a walking jukebox, because I remember a looooot of song lyrics (as opposed to things that are actually important to remember). And obviously, karaoke is my favourite late night activity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As everyone here, I like meeting new people of different nationalities and cultures :) . And when it comes to accomodation possibilities while travelling, hostels feel scary for a solo travelling lady, hotels are the same everywhere and you don't really get to meet anyone there and you don't get a feel of the local culture... Couchsurfing has everything I'm looking for in the travelling experience. I'm not here to get a place to sleep for free, I make my own money, it's all about enjoying the experience to the fullest when i rarely get a chance to travel.

Movie wise, my guilty pleasures are musicals and cheesy rom coms.

And my favourite TV show to watch is Top Gear (the old one ofc). It’s a comfort food in the form of a tv show.

I also like languages, I always try to learn at least a bit of the language that is spoken in the country I’m going to. So we can have a short chat in your language, and I can teach you all the czech swear words :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you a place to stay in Prague if you ever want to come, as an exchange for you letting me stay at your place :) I have a lot of flatmates in a pretty small flat (that's why I have "maybe accepting guests" on my profile), but I'm sure we'd manage :) I also like cooking and baking, so we can share a meal and chat about life :)
