Hello/Salut/Hola/Ahoj! :)

I am a 21 y/o. student, french language geek, from a small country in the heart of Europe - Slovakia :) Over the years, I got tired of the "normal" family vacations and holidays by the sea in some posh hotels, and I realised that there is always so much more to the country and/or to the city, when you step out of your comfort zone and you meet the locals, you see all the hidden beautiful places. I would describe myself as an "introverted extrovert" - I love meeting and talking to new people, but I can also be very shy and quiet,and while at that stage, I am a great listener and I especially enjoy listening about life stories and experiences of others.

In this world, the most important thing is to help each other and help protect the nature - keeping the humanity inside us still alive, because as we are reaching the stage of a technological peak and social media are bigger than they have ever been, it is so important to still meet in person, talk, experience - and not just DM, swipe and share pictures.

This is an awesome platform that can help people all around the world to travel, get to know new people, new culture, new cities, and that - to me - is one of the essential things in life - to meet and to explore. I believe that through couch-surfing, you are able not only to find a shelter, but also to find new friendships, which can sometimes last a lifetime :)

I am into all kinds of music - while it is a pleasure for my ear, I can take any genre.

When it comes to movies, I usually enjoy movies that make you think - either about yourself or about the world. I really enjoy documentaries about anything, because I love finding out new information about all kinds of things.

my all time favourite playwright is definitely W. Shakespeare - I have a whole collection of his books on my bookshelf.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

after hiking for approx. 12h, sleeping only in a sleeping bag under the stars between two mountains in Slovakia :)

I can teach you some Slovak or French, I can teach you to dance ballroom dances or to play basic piano/guitar :D :)

There is never any limit to learning, so I am here to learn anything I can from anybody :) (I would love to learn something more about meditation for example :) )
