I like to explore new things. Being a guest in a country or a city gives me an opportunity to meet local people and visit new places. By talking to people, I like to learn details that aren't written in any guide book.

I like to hitchhike and hike in the nature (not necessarily in the mountains).
I prefer villages to cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that meeting the local people opens a new chapter of the place I'm visiting. By having conversation, it's possible to know better how things work and how normal life looks like.
I don't need a five star hotel with continental breakfast after I spend the previous night in a club with the same songs that play all arounf the world.
But I do really apreciate if someone tells me a local joke, gives me an advice what to eat or just accompanies me to his or her favourite beer/wine/coffee place.

Interests

Oh, I love to play ultimate frisbee! It's nearly 100 % sure, I'm having my disc with me on travells!

My favurite style of travelling can be described such as ultra light, mainly slow, nature friendly, low cost a bit, and open minded.

Also I like the feeling of finding out which thing I don't need on my journies. The lighter the backpack, the lighter the heart (and feet) :)
