I was born in Zurich, Switzerland, but have lived most of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically in and around San Jose, CA. My parents took me traveling a lot when I was a child and I've always had the travel bug. I'm lucky to have visited over 10 countries and 15 states so far, with that list growing. Recently I bought a Mini-RV so I can travel more, starting with the US and Canada, and on top of that, I'm taking my cat with me and documenting the journeys via a travel blog (majesticmaverick.com). I'm an avid concert goer, swimmer, reader, and I practice yoga. As a talent manager, I have the freedom to work from anywhere that has internet, which makes traveling even easier these days. I also tour with my bands on occasion, which is a lot of fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling a lot in my RV this year and could use a couch/shower every so often. I also love meeting new people, learn about new cultures, and see all the beautiful sites around the world. My travel bucket list is long and I intend to see as much as possible. In return, I'd be happy to host others on their journeys and meet people where ever I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if I'd call it amazing, but as a teenager I hiked halfway up Yosemite Falls. I'm out of shape now, but my goal is to start hiking again and maybe I'll do an amazing feat in the near future.

I have thought about touring Europe and teaching English while doing so. I want to learn as much as I can from other cultures. I want to share all the knowledge I acquire via my blog.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very social person and love discussing just about everything. I love to learn from people, as well as share my knowledge. I fit in to most situations easily and get along well with people from all cultures and backgrounds. I'm also very spontaneous and up for adventures. Having a European background with American lifestyle, I offer a nice balance between traditional and modern way of living. I enjoy nature, yet can handle the fast paced city life at the same time.
