Hi, I am Barış. I am an economics student in Metu(Odtü). Normally ı live in İzmir but for school ı've came to Ankara.
I like reading books(Jack London, Albert Camus, Stefan Zweigh...), watching movies(Stanley Kubrick, Lars von Trier, Ken Loach...) and listening music(Hooverphonic, İbrahim Maalouf, Noir Desire...). I'm intersted in politics and science too. Also ı perform in a theatre company that called 'Metu Players'(Odtü Oyuncuları) in my university. I write poems and little stories but they are not remarkable ı think. I do like to do sport but ı am not a proffessional sporter in any branch. Even so, ı like table tennis, football, wolleyball, swimming, indeed every type of sport. I love watching the olympic games. I train at gym also. That's all came into my head.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it will help me to learn foreign languages and make friends. And also, it is cheaper than staying at hotel. That's why ı like hitch-hiking too. :)
