Hi!
I am Barış ! I am 21 years old and I am studying in Ege university in Izmir / Turkey as a travel agent. I like my department because I love to travel, discover to new places, meet with new people, have more friends, keep in touch all time with them, taking about cultures, languages, arts, literature . They all make me feel better. I like to have and send a post card from all around the world.
I love camping so much. I had my first experience in my life in USA. Until that sometimes go to some place for camping.
I am living alone. Sometimes It is good sometimes it is boring. But I always find some thing to do. I like to read books so much. Usually I open songs on tv or computer and start to read my book with listen music.
I like to watch tv and DVDs. I am a good tv series follower. I am watching Game of thrones, supernatural, shameless and some of Turkish series. I like dancing. I like hanging out with my friends and with new people. Usually I don't like noise clubs but it doesn't mean I can't go. I prefer silence cafés and bars for hear my friends what they are talking.
Sometimes I go to mountains , forests or valleys for trekking and hiking. I like to being in the natures. I always learn something from nature.
I don't drive a car. I don't have driving license too. I like to use subway or bus because I love being a part of city life. And try to find more fun. So many times I lost my way but it funny to find correct way. There is so many more chances for more experience in there.
I am a half city boy half town. Mostly crazy funny wherever I am. I bet nothing can change my smile. Always find something for being happy. I just trying to keep myself like this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people all around the world. I like to talking about cultures, languages, foods etc. I want to spend quality time with good people in different places and we can talk about that places.
Generally I prefer to travel with who living in that city. And they can show me some interesting thing in there. I want to see famous places but also I want to see unknowns places. I really wonder how is going life in the different cities with different cultures.
I always want to taste traditional foods wherever I am. And we can talking about different cuisines. I can teach to cook some Turkish foods to my hosts or my couchs. Its pleasure for me. And also if you can, you should to teach me. I like to cook new foods and show my friends when I go back to home.

Interests

I interests so many things but don't like adrenaline sports so much. I am not good for them. There are so many funny experiences I had before. I can't rafting or snowboarding. Please don't to do them with me I would to do but I changed my mind after I had one experience . Okay I am crazy but not like much.
I like dancing, driving around the city, hanging out with my friends, cook so delicious and interesting foods. (I like it so much), I like to drink wine and beer. And I love to singing so much. I don't think my voice is excellent but I like it and nobody can stop it I guess. I like to listen live music. Usually me and my friends going to listen some amateur groups. Concerts has more much fun and quality time. I like silence bars and pubs. I am not a club boy. I prefer to listen people. Talk with them about any think is better than noisy. Let's to go together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music but specially Turkish country and art music,popular, rock and Instrumental music. I also love to listen different language songs. Indian and Arabic are the best ones
Mostly I spend my time at home for reading books. I like Turkish and Russian literature. I read Hanger games and I like it so much. After I read I went to cinema for watch movies too. In my opinion books was better than movies.
I am fan of European cinemas. Mostly French and Belgium movies. I love them so much. Did you ever watch Amelie? I can watch hundred times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked as a receptionist many years and one season I worked as a travel guide. These years was amazing. Now the time is for me. There are so many place I should to Bowen k there. I gonna change my life style step to step.
I worked in the Turkish language and literature faculty as a Turkish teacher for foreign students . It was amazing to teach somethings to someones. It makes you more open minded. Makes you more close to other culture and shared your cultures with the other.
Now I am learning German. Be honestly I am not good in German class but I am still trying and I gonna do it. I can speak little bit Russian Arabic and Spanish. Because I like to speak other languages. Okay I don't know so many sentences but I like to answer "how are you" in their language.
