Hey beautiful minds,

Yet another couchurfer. I am Baris (which means "peace" in Turkish; yeah we have meanings for every name). I am a Computer Scientist doing M.Sc. in Germany. You can already find some of my references which are written from awesome friends I've met here. Even they are just %0.013 of my total friends, I am glad to know them and I guess & I hope they are also feeling not that bad to get to know me :) You can check them out and learn about me more.

I have always believed that life is all about taking every possible chance and meeting new people, new cultures and experiencing new things as much as you can. Couchsurfing is a very creative platform which helps me all the time when I travel.

Let's talk some personal things. I like going out to bars, clubs, restaurants, operas, museums etc.. I have full of passion to be happy and enjoy every moment of my life. I become happier if the people around me are also happy. I love cooking, dancing and playing different kind of sports. You can get more details after meeting me. However one quick tip is that you should try a real Turkish dish from me which you will probably not be able to try in any Turkish or Turkish-like restaurants out there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always looking forward to meet new friends, sharing experience, learning or teaching new things to each other. Couchsurfing has helped me to make many of my wishes real so far. Therefore, I am in Couchsurfing. Of course, sometimes I need a couch to become a couch patato and "couch" "surfing" seems very logical platform for this :)

Interests

I have many hobbies guys. I am an Ultimate Frisbee player at University of Saarland. I love trying different kind of sports. I used to play Basketball for years before starting Ultimate. I love cooking. I surely love travelling and lookig forward to travel as much as I can. Since I am a Computer Scientist, I also love technology. However, I would prefer not talking boring stuff here. If there is a nerd by chance (like Baris version 1.0.0; I have many updates since then :)) among you, please do not hesitate to go for an important and serious talk with me. I have a good knowledge of Math, Sicence, latest Technologies and Business. I have many more interests but the remaining interests will continue when we grab a beer together :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done many amazing and crazy things. One of them was biking in a forest in the middle of night alone. However, this is not in my top 10. I would like to share some of my adventures when we meet :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach many things in different areas. If you have already read above you have some kind of small knowledge about me. I can teach you how to cook most delicious foods ever. I can help you to improve your athletic skills at Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball etc.. I can teach you some Computer Related Stuff if you are interested. and many more..

I love taking photos and I am an amateur photographer. I would like to get some advices from some pros :) I am always hungry to learn new things so you can teach me anything you are good at.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have hosted many people until now. They are not all registered at Couchsurfing. However, I shared everything I have with my hosts. Whoever visits my place should feel like home. That's very important for me. Therefore, I alwas try doing my best.
