ABOUT ME
I'm an intellectual who dabbles in extroversion. I love to learn. I want to know about anything and everything- people, places, things- how they work and what's interesting about them. I get along easily with most people and enjoy learning what drives them.
PHILOSOPHY
My way or the highway. Just kidding. I like finding common ground with people who at first seem to operate from wildly different philosophies. My philosophy is tough to describe, maybe you and I could have a nice chat about philosophy?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far my experiences have been exclusively at CS events/meetups in Boston for the summer of 2011. Now I'm beginning to travel more and hope to host people in 2012.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never surfed through this site, but I have stayed in strangers' homes across the US through my travels with the Notre Dame Glee Club. I've done this ~50 times and always enjoy meeting new people!
Interests
I like most sports, especially soccer and volleyball. I follow the English Premier League religiously, and my life shuts down for the World Cup. I read and jog. I hope to run a Marathon during 2014.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently reading Catch-22 and a Brief History of Time. I enjoy all types of music. It took awhile for Country to grow on me but a couple long drives did the trick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sang with the Notre Dame Glee Club for 4000 Guatemalans in a beautiful cathedral.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share what I know about solar cells and chemical engineering stuff. I'd like to learn economics.
Countries I’ve Visited
Germany, Guatemala
