Workwise, I've been singing opera for 15 some years with different companies and the local opera chorus. I also worked extensively as a tour guide and interpreter throughout Canada for folks of all backgrounds and origins. I'm a man of many trades and interests, a real eclectic you could say. In short, I've always followed my passions.

I also like nature, long-distance bike-trips, eating, literature, sports, etc.

PHILOSOPHY
To do one thing at a time and remind myself to breathe every now and then.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I offer my tour-guiding experience to anyone who has an interest in discovering Montreal, Quebec and Canada, and getting acquainted with people who actually live here... On a stroll, over a coffee or a snack.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
2 long stays in Germany and France, and 3 short ones in Italy- all very enjoyable and enriching.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This morning, I managed to cook my 3-minute egg in 50 seconds.
Once danced with Baryschnikov on stage.
Jumped off a 12 meter high dam north of Italy.
Climbed mount Washington a month after a life-threatening operation.
Hiked the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail on Vancouver Island- 50 km of pure bliss !
And other dazzling feats I now forget.
