Resumen
Sobre mí
Hippie who takes showers. I'm an easy-going, generally positive (but not in a toxic way:) guy. I show respect to everyone's way of living and expect it from the others. I really like to exchange ideas and sometimes debate about problems of the world and how they can be fixed. (Probably the problems will stay but it is fun to debate :)
I used to stay in my town all the time and go to pubs that I know to get drunk with my friends to make new friends. This summer attented a cultural exchange program as a screenwriter and visited France and Bulgaria. This trips made me realize how I like new cultures and new places. So I'm trying to leave my comfort zone from now on.
I worked as a professional actor in National Theater in Turkey for 3 years, I've got bored and decided to move forward with creative writing. Recently finished my master's degree on this program and now working as a freelance writer and translator. Since these are not enough to make a living here in Turkey I also do bartending as a sidejob.
Since I'm new to this couchsurfing thing, my profile looks kinda weak, so here's my instagram:

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
As Pink Floyd puts:
"Money, It's a crime."
Our 9 to 6 jobs are preventing us to live as we wish and directing us to consume products more to be happy. Without realizing it we came to the age of 50 with a little in our hands that we really enjoyed. I might sound like a angry teenager but why spend my money on a clean, white, tidy formal hotel room while I can buy a beer to friends and have some with them. So that's why I'm couchsurfing. To trade boring work hours with fun instead of clean boring and formal accommodation.
I attended a cultural exchange program in Menet, France in July as a scenarist and got a Schengen Visa until 2023. So I tought this might be my chance to travel to Europe. There is a psychedelic rock band called All Them Witches that I was dreaming about to see live but they won't come to Turkey soon. So I decided to sell my unnecessary stuff and go to Europe to see them. I joined this site with a hope to find a place to stay and make friends and to see those friends later maybe here in Istanbul so I can host them too. Also I don't like to see popular touristic places, I would love to have someone local to travel around the city.

Música, películas y libros
I listen to 60's rock music generally, these days trying to get used to electronic music since that is the tune for the era. My favorite band is All Them Witches, they're reminding me the mixed sounds of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane and Pink Floyd. If you're into stoner rock, give them a shot.
I like Hitchcock and Woody Allen's movies. Tried to understand David Lynch and Lars von Trier but it didn't work :) Still trying. Recently watched a movie from Thomas Vinterberg called "Festen" and really liked it since it's making the audience uncomfortable and breaking taboos about some delicate issues.
Bertrand Russel's In Praise of Idleness is my favorite book, Paul Lafargue's The Right to be Lazy is also one my favorites. Really liked Reincarnation Blues by Micheal Poore as a fiction. Byung-Chul Han's book called "Capitalism and Death Drive" and the essays in it raised my awareness a lot on data-driven world and how dangerous it is for the human-kind.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Tried to sleep sober one time.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I love to learn new things like a child. I don't know what can I teach since I believe I really know very little. However, I can share my thoughts on various subjects.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
If you have friend groups of 5-10 people and a open space to move around we can all together play some fundementals of theatre game from Viola Spolin. They're fun games to feel like a team and connect as one piece. I was teaching this method in the university for the theatre for kids program.
I also have a writing workshop in my inventory which makes you write a short play, movie, story or even poem/lyrics in an hour. It is fun and makes you realize that writing is not that hard.
These are the things that I can share professionaly, other than that I can make good coctails and of course we can exchange cultures and fun stories about our lives which I think the best.
