My name is Marcel Žnidarič, I am creative young architect from Slovenia. I am 27 years old, currently finishing my Masters study of architecture at University of Maribor, Slovenia. During my studies I have been part of ERASMUS+ student exchange program, studying at University of Technology and Economics in Budapest, Hungary for 6 months. After my studies I was also living and working in Graz, Austria and later in Zurich, Switzerland. Currently I am living and working in Porto, Portugal.

I am very communicative and outgoing person who loves spending time in nature, discovering places and meeting new people. I especially like going to a good concerts or DJ performance, stand up comedy or exhibitions.

I am interested in arts, sports and crazy DIY projects, especially clay sculpturing, painting and photography but try to spend as much time as possible doing outdoor activities like slacklining, snowboarding, mountain biking, paragliding and hiking.

I am fluent in English and have basic knowledge of German language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Spending time with locals really gives you insight into local culture. I like to meet new interesting people because I am always amazed how many like-minded people you can find around the world :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have wide knowledge of architecture and design and always interested in discussing it.

I am also interested in biology and arts, constantly on a lookout to learn more about it.

I was a sports trainer at our local slackline club - teaching slacklining to kids and adults, so I can pretty much teach anybody no matter how young, old or untalented :)

I also have cooking skills and can make some traditional Slovene dishes.
