About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Karolina: Speech therapist, Barnaba: journalist, website administration
ABOUT ME
Karolina and Barnaba - we're a high school friends since 2003, couple since 2006 and married from 2012. We live in a quite, green part of the Warsaw, though we enjoy site-seeing, city-life, museums and good food :). And we seek the same joys while travelling.
We're kind, calm people. We respect privacy of other people and their customs - no matter in which part of the world we currently are. You don't have to be afraid that we would leave any kind mess. During out journeys we always want to spend as much time outside as possible, but we would always fit your daily schedule.
We don't smoke.
PHILOSOPHY
"Get Up, Stand Up for your rights and don't give up to fight!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We're travelling around Europe since we're 19 - we don't have any couchsurfing experience yet, but we were convinced by our friends to join this community and try "another way" of travelling than the traditional one. We're also looking forward to host somebody in the future.
Interests
Karolina: active free-time (biking, swiming, walking in the green areas), reading books (especially biographies, diaries, Polish poetry, travel-inspiring), buying food on regional markets
Barnaba: music CD's and LP's collecting (jazz, fusion, prog, funk, etho), blockbuster and indie video games, coocking and eating, attenting to concerts, writing music articles... and preparing to write a book about music

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to specify :). It would be easier to describe what we like to cook or eat recently:
- thai curry, based on coconut milk and yellow curry
- pierogi's (dumplings) made by Karolina's mother
- pancakes stuffed with jam. Or spinache and blue-cheese
- scrambled eggs on olive oil with home-planted rosemary and basil
- hamburgers
- cakes with season-fruits (apple+apricot recently)
- anything that can be eaten with hot chili paste
- Polish style broth with nuddles
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing we experienced was... the feeling we share between us - though we know that the best is yet to come!
