About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To become a great clown and teach others to be also
ABOUT ME
I am an artist first and foremost, I suppose. I make theatre, solo shows, directing groups, and teach performance. The mission above was not a joke (well, it's always kind of a joke, but also serious). I am a clown. Clowning is about facing all sides of yourself and laughing at the beauty of you own ridiculousness. If we could all be better at that (and I still have a long way to go) I believe this world would be better for us all to live in.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't want to try to write this down. It's too much. Maybe what I said about clowns above really sums it up. Clowns reflect the universe back to us, they show us the divine in all of us. I am not a weird circus clown, or birthday party clown. I was trained in a form of Native Amercian clowning which is all about expressing the deepest flawed nature of humanity and reminding us we are ridiculous.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel a lot and I love to meet people, make contacts, share myself with others, while learning more about the world. I also have a hosue in UK, where I spend abotu half of my time. I find it an empty experience when I go to a new place in stay in some soulless hotel or guesthouse, sho I love to engage in this process of sharing, contributing and benefiting from people's generosity. It seems to me to promote a very positive and progressive approach to living.

Interests
Theatre mainly, and film and other kinds of art, but live performance more than anything else. I also love to travel, speak Spanish, ride bicycles, climb rocks, fly in aeroplanes and swim in the sea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Blah blah blah.
We need something to talk about when we meet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Top of Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka at dawn, where ther is a Buddhist temple, after a 2 hour climb in the dark, watching the sun rise over the most stunning vista of mountains and clouds. Very spiritual, apart from the Australian family who were also up there.
