About Me

Hello!

I live in London most of the time. I like writing and reading; I'm currently studying Architecture at UCL. And, obviously, I love travelling.

I'm a good guest (I hope!) - I'm not fussy and I'm more than happy to help out to make sure my visit isn't disruptive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like meeting people who know the areas I'm visiting and it's much more interesting than hostels or hotels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had to jump onto a moving train that was pulling out of the platform in Belgrade. I had volunteered to go and find some food for me and the people I was sharing a cabin with - our train had been so delayed that'd we had no chance to get anything to eat for around 12 hours, and we had stopped at temporarily at the station. Nobody knew how long we'd be stopped there, but it was our only chance to get supplies. I took my essentials in case it all went wrong, ran from the train to the nearest food stall and bought a handful of pastries, and as I returned to the platform the train had started to pull away. The guard was standing in the doorway encouraging me to hurry. I sprinted to keep up with the accelerating train and had to leap into the doorway where the guard caught me. The pastries were not very nice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm terrible at languages, but I want to learn!!
I love drawing and painting, I'm good at video games (a misspent youth) and I love talking about books and history and politics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always happy to cook. Strengths include scrambled eggs, risotto, enchiladas.
I'm easy going - am happy to be left to my own devices, or hang out if that's what you prefer!
