I guess what I am most interested in is people, getting to know them and hearing their stories. Maybe this explains why i studied psychology - I moved to Glasgow and stayed ever since. It's been a great place to meet people and get into the music scene, and I'm always looking for these on my travels too. I am also super into films and books and that kinda thing and I'm always down to chat about stuff I like (or dislike...)

I've been lucky to travel a bit in my life and always have one eye on the next trip, and I reckon that the human touch of Couchsurfing and Workaway is really the best thing about travelling. Learning about other countries and cultures from people who have lived their whole lives immersed in them can teach you so much more than any guidebook, and I hope I can give an interesting perspective on Scotland too or at least make you laugh a couple of times.

I'm currently without a fixed address as I travel for the next 6months but am looking forward to opening my home to other couchsurfers when I next have one!

I spend probably most of my money on going to gigs - Glasgow has a great music scene and I've seen lots of groovy bands here and across the UK and Europe. I am often at the cinema especially in the colder months (of which we have many) and if not I might be found writing songs on my guitar, reading something good or partying with friends and strangers

Music: lots of post punk and new wave at the moment. Some favs old and new include pavement, velvet underground, talking heads, slowdive, yo la tengo, Brian jonestown Massacre, tribe called quest, Gil Scott heron...
Movies: I love Richard Linklater, Wes Anderson, the Coens and Noah Baumbach's films. Some all time favs include holy grail, life of Brian, moon, truman show, boyhood, before sunset, cool hand luke, ladybird, the handmaiden, the lobster, her, alien, the breakfast club, swingers and way more
Books: Margaret Atwood, George Orwell, Jack Kerouac. Wild Swans, House of Spirits, Confederacy of Dunces, Secret History, a whole heap of music and films biogs...
