HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have an unusual house in south london that people can stay at if they like camping;) (see couch description)....as well as staying with people, i use couchsurfing a lot for just meeting up with people when i'm travelling, especially when i was moving about in my van, it was lovely to come across different people who could offer a beautiful little glimpse of their surroundings. some of the couchsurfers i have hosted in london have stayed on in the city and become really close friends of mine - (faisel, alex, igor...that's you)

i listen to ceilidh, cold wave, jazz, reggae, techno and ambient classical depending on what i'm up to.

i'm really interested in documentary film (making and watching) and have made several short films that have screened at film festivals.

last year I hitchhiked from Kosovo to London which was intense but brilliant. i will never forget the night I slept on a 45 degree angle hill near Sarajevo with wild dogs scampering about everywhere, and the hospitality and generosity of people helping each other out and sharing.
