ABOUT ME

I'm a social worker. I like to cook, shop at the farmer's market, ride my bike, drink tea, and read. I like houseplants. I look forward to Tuesdays when I can listen to the new Savage Love podcast. I look forward to 11PM when I can download The Rachel Maddow Show. I like Thrift Stores. My alarm clock wakes me up each morning with NPR. I find solace in the voices of Terri Gross and Michelle Norris.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host more than I surf. Each time has been a great experience. I have made several great friends from hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was couchsurfing before I found out about the website. I've always tried to find local people to hang out with and get advice from when I travel.

Since signing up on couchsurfing I have had great experiences at home and abroad. I usually cook dinner with the people I host at least once. Preparing and sharing a meal with someone who arrived as a stranger always makes me feel good about life.
