Currently I am living in Lake Almanor working for the family business and training to become a real estate appraiser. In my off time I love to play music, be outdoors doing just about any activity possible, and also staying in to work on personal enrichment projects. Travel is always on my mind. I started using couch surfing as a means to tour around the western US with a fellow musician playing shows and meeting new people, and now I want to continue to host others while I am grounded.

Music, travel, beer, wine, good food, being adventurous, sometimes going to bed early after watching a good movie and sometimes staying out until 2 o'clock in the morning listening to music with good friends.

Music: The Beatles, Third Eye Blind, Ray Charles, 70/90's alternative rock, acoustic singer songwriters, indie, pop, and just about anything with solid lyrics and not necessarily a positive but an intelligent message.

Books: The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest by Ken Kesey, Travels With Charley by John Steinbeck, any of the Harry Potter series, and whatever I can get my hands on at the time. Currently I'm reading Lord of the Flies that I just picked up at a thrift store in Las Vegas.

I lived in Japan for three months as a lifeguard/swim instructor, I spent two months in Central America volunteering at a hostel and traveling, and most recently I organized and executed a musical tour that took us to 12 states and parts of British Colombia.
