ABOUT ME

Things I've learned: how to use a tractor, how to ride an ATV properly, how to raise calves, how to milk, how to drive MANUAL TRANSMISSION, how to mill timber, how to trap lobsters, how to order beer in Germany, Poland, Hungary, and France, and how to appreciate how fortunate I am.

PHILOSOPHY

It's pretty simple, really. I just try to be decent to other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I get a couch, it will definitely be open for surfers! Look for us in Australia! We've been to a couple CS meetings as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just surfed. So far in Canada, Scotland, Germany, Poland, Hungary, and Malaysia.

Interests

We're all on CS because we enjoy travel, so that's a given. I love music, reading, meeting new people. I enjoy hard work and hanging out with a cold beer afterwards. My girlfriend and I are both huge animal lovers as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise on Cramond Island on the Firth of Forth, a close encounter with a black bear in Kouchibouguac, lobster fishing in Grand Manan, the Faerie Glen on the Isle of Skye, and hiking around New Zealand are a few that come to mind. My life is fantastic, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I consider myself fairly competent with a hammer in my hand. There's lots of odd jobs that need to happen around the house. Any knowledge I have on the subject is yours if you want it.

I'd also welcome any opportunity to practise my French!
