Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and experience as much as I can, and grow from that I spose.
ABOUT ME
Pretty relaxed fella, enjoy trying anything really, so traveling is an easy fit for me. I've just finished doing my masters in the UK, am pretty active physically, and a music enthusiast. Not sure what all else might be relevant here, but feel free to shoot me any question you might have!
PHILOSOPHY
Pretty simple but be as open minded as I can be to different ways of thinking or seeing the world, as direct and genuine as I can be in how I communicate, and always "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Lastly I hope to constantly seek, largely through traveling, to expand each of these capacities within myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Wish to host, and be hosted this fall as I plan to do a bit of a sojurn around Europe before heading back to the states!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A little at this point, but looking to get much more immersed into the culture of this whole experience!
Interests
Meeting new people, anything that might challenge my world view. Really into any sort of meditative practice, I.E. massage, meditation, yoga. Just anything that brings me back within myself a bit . Also love to play football/soccer, play my banjo, and explore the outdoors!

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of indie rock from all over, folk, country western, folk rock. Those are probably my passions, but anything from Miles Davis-Bach also fits the bill! As far as books I guess I'm a bit of nerd. Grew up on lord of the rings, loved Eragon, currently working my way through the game of thrones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's probably a bit run of the mill anymore, but sky-diving was incredible!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I know a bit about playing some banjo though I would say I'm far from an expert. I've done my undergrad and masters in psychology. As far as what I could personally teach someone, I don't know as it probably depends on the individual. As for what I'd like to learn, I feel that experiences like this can be recharging for the soul. Receiving the kindness of strangers is something that redeems your faith in humanity and expands you as a person I think. This is perhaps my main mission in traveling in this way I suppose. I seek to receive and give this as much as I can, in a medium I've just started to explore.
