CURRENT MISSION

The accumulation of stories. Every person has a story, a very interesting one in most cases. I want to hear them. Maybe even document them. Aside from that, I am just trying to write my own story as well.

ABOUT ME

There isn't all that much to say. So far I'm just living my life, trying not to mess up too too much. I get by and I make mistakes and I learn and I move on and next time it isn't so hard. When I learn all I can I'll stop moving on and settle down, but until then "I'm a rover, seldom sober, I'm a rover of high degree! And when I'm DRINKING I'm always thinking how to gain my love's company!"

PHILOSOPHY

Those who do not trust, cannot be trusted. I give most people the benefit of the doubt, but rarely any more than a second chance. I'm a nice guy and I believe respect isn't earned. Respect is given until reason to take it away. You can't start out not respecting someone. Disrespect them when you have a reason for it. You won't have to earn my respect.

Interests

I'm interested mostly in people and what they have to say but some other things include cars, video games, computers, hiking, camping, backpacking, reading, writing, exploring, bars, drinking, music, movies, I like talking politics and philosophy and religion, I'm a drummer, I play a little guitar, and I'm learning the penny whistle. I kinda add interests as I grow so there's no definite answer here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Through a fellow I stayed with in Ottawa I got to do a helicopter pilot training mission in a classified government helicopter pilot trainer. It wasn't a real helicopter (we didn't take off, it was inside a warehouse) but from inside it was pretty dramatic. I got to see Chaff grenades, Flares, all the equipment used by and to train military personelle and more gadgets then I thought even existed!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people to play the drums! I've been a drummer for a few years. I have been horseback riding for 16 years and own several at my parent's home not far from my apartment, if anybody was interested I could definitely show them a little about large animal care and horseback riding. I can drive a stick if someone wants to learn and I'm always down to learn about other cultures!
