Down time is 12 PM when you have pushed to do as much as you can to take in life and had a good meal at dinner and a great wine. Travelers tend to know this is all so special and seeing the world is a must. Basically if you can fix and improve something then get on with the program. Its a short trip, a lot of planet and not much time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't know much about this site, but met an Australian in the Amazon of Peru who told me the great experiences he had had, and recommended I check it out. I realize that I as a local of my area can tell someone where the best trails are in my area, and save lots of time, so it only goes to say a local somewhere else can save me lots of time and show me the culture, not the tourist spots.
