About Me

I'm born in Belgium and lived here all my life. I'm naturally curious and like to meet new people, learning more about their views and perspectives on life.

I'm currently looking for a job in Dubai, because my girlfriend lives and works there too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hmmm... Why not? Als I wrote above, I like to meet new people and think this platform offers a great opportunity to connect like-minded people all over the globe.

Interests

I like food... Eating, drinking. And cooking too (once in a while). I like a glass of good red wine.

I like doing sports, listening to music and laughing and making fun. And, of course, travelling too.

For sports I like boxing, power training at the gym, running and biking... Seasonal stuff includes snowboarding, skiing, surfing, kitesurfing...

My musical preferences are very broad. And they vary from time to time. I've been to a lot of music festivals. Going from Rock to Electronic, from Reggae to Kizomba.

What else?

I like to read and experiment with self-improvement, in every aspect of your life. Stepping outside of your comfort zone, learning new things and growing in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books.

I like the concepts from "The 4-Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferriss. From the same author is also like "The 4 Hour Body," and "the 4 Hour Chef."

Other favorite authors include John Maxwell, Darren Hardy, Mark Manson, Greg McKeown,...

I also like books by John Maxwell, Anthony Robbins and Darren Hardy.

Music.

So much good stuff! Lenny Kravitz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Marley, Arctic Monkeys, Smashing Pumpkins, Massive Attack, The Sore Losers, The Knife, The Black Box Revelation, Chris Cornell, Richard Ashcroft, dEUS, The Roots, Absynthe Minded, Foals, Queens of the Stone Age, Kasabian, ... And the classic rock 'n roll bands too. Too many to mention... Music is life. Life is music.

But as I said... Also minimal techno sets from time to time. Acid jazz. Good ol' RNB... I listen to practically anyting. Every genre has its good artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- backpacking in Thailand
- Canyoning in Ötztal - Austria, which included jumping from 15 m cliffs
- snowboarding trips in the alps
- surfing in Ericeira, Portugal

Let's talk about the rest later...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basic kizomba dancing steps... Tell you stories about travelling in Thailand. Or maybe teach you how to snowboard. Basic boxing moves? Yes. And simple advice to shed bodyfat in an easy way too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm open minded an have a broad field of interests... That's why I've tried a lot of different stuff. But I'm just getting started. What can I share then? My opinion on stuff. But I can share my full attention as well, because I believe you can learn something from everyone.
