About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling in Odishia, India up until mid august 2013

ABOUT ME

I try to be a friendly, open-minded person, who likes to have fun with others or just enjoy a nice book or music. I have a close group of friends with whom I hang around. We have a lot of fun but at the same time I would like to broaden my network and horizon, something this network can surely support.

PHILOSOPHY

Belief in yourself but never forget to learn from others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering my couch, sometimes looking for couches during my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a couple of great people.

Interests

I am interested in many aspects of life, from more 'serious' matters such as politics, economics and history (and debating these matters) to the things that make life more enjoyable (the word 'hobbies' might be applicable) like music (various genres), food (coocking), fun(fan of cabaret, dry (English)humour), games (both digital and live, such as card games), sports (cycling) and finally but perhaps most importantly hanging around with friends or family and making fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Superbad, Matrix (1), 50/50, LOTR, Cidade de Deus, Schintlers'list, La Vita e Bella, American Beauty to name a few.

Music: can't really name a song; like songs from many different genres (dance, techno, pop, rock, rap)

Books: mostly non-fiction, recent book I've enjoyed is 'Thinking, Fast and Slow' by Daniel Kahneman and 'Lone Survivors: How We Came to Be the Only Humans on Earth' by Chris Stringer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I can learn from everyone, perhaps even more so if they have a different perspective on life.
