About Me
********************************************************************
I'm travelling right now so unfortunately I can't host at the moment, but if you want advice on things to do in Durham then send me a message!
********************************************************************
I've lived in three corners of England, but at the moment I feel most at home in the north-east. I'm lucky enough to live in the lush little city of Durham - which you should definitely come and visit!
When I'm not travelling, I usually have a few different jobs on the go - right now I'm doing a journalism internship, as well as working for an arts venue in Durham and a modern art gallery in Newcastle.
I love hitchhiking, and I do it as much as possible. Like Couchsurfing, it's a great way to have adventures and meet interesting people! I also spend a lot of my time going to gigs - the north-east has a great music scene.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couchsurfed around Europe, and I've always had a great time. I've made new friends and been shown places that I never would have found otherwise. When I'm at home, I like to host surfers and show them around my city - it's great to be able to meet interesting people from other cultures even when I'm not travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Ferris Bueller, Back to the Future, Breakfast Club - bascially anything from the 80s!
Music: I like lot of different genres - punk, hip-hop, garage, jazz... I love sharing music with other people and finding new things to listen to.
Books: Beat Generation! Kerouac, Ginsberg, Burroughs...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a summer hitchhiking around Scandinavia. I got into a lot of weird and wonderful situations - never a dull moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach English, so I can help you improve your language skills. I also speak French and Spanish so I can help you learn that if you want. I'd be keen to get some art skills - maybe learn to draw - and to get better at playing instruments!
