Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

How I became the viking called "Big Red, King of the Netherlands and Hoogeveldt".

First of all, I grew a beard... A very long one! And it's red. So both viking and Big Red weren't a very big leap of the imagination. Though the viking-outfit did help...

Now for the good part! A long ass f*cking time ago in a town called Amsterdam, there was this venue that had booked an awesome band, bearded through and through. It was the Beards from Australia! It didn't take long for them to notice my beard. After some songs they started complaining about the Dutch royal family and the fact our king did NOT have a beard. Near the end of the show they gave me the sacred quest of reconquering the country in the name of all beards! I'm a history teacher and a city-tour-guide. So I know a lot of cool stuff about history and would gladly give a tour through the oldest and most beautiful city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen :)
