I'm a twenty-something originally from up north in Pittsburgh, moved down to Mississippi for a job opportunity about a year ago. I'm looking to find a city with a better music scene than Biloxi. Currently looking into Austin and Southern Cali. In addition to my work as a chemist, I have been writing poetry and short stories, posting them to my website bartrothrauff.com. I also play the guitar and bass, and have been in various bands in the past. I'd like to find a city that I could play some live music, read some of my stuff, and also not have to deal with the cold weather I was used to up in Pittsburgh.

Back in college I ran a fireworks tent by myself for a week. I got mugged three times, caught two shoplifters, and had one hell of a hangover from cheap red wine on the last day, which was the Fourth of July. I ended up making almost five grand. Good times.
